Motors & Fans

Motor and fan solutions for various refrigeration products including refrigerators, commercial freezers and air conditioners must be custom-designed in accordance with the operating condition characteristics of each application scenario. In the refrigerator segment, the core focus lies in balancing low noise, uniform air supply and energy-efficient operation. By replacing traditional shaded-pole motors with Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors, paired with coordinated operation of PWM variable-frequency fans and high-efficiency compressors, precise constant temperature control with temperature fluctuations limited to 0.1°C inside the cabinet can be achieved, meeting demands for miniaturization and low noise. For commercial freezers, top priority is placed on ultra-high energy efficiency and long-term operational reliability. Traditional shaded-pole motors only deliver an efficiency of around 18%, whereas motors equipped with Electronically Commutated (EC) technology boast an efficiency of over 68% to 70% with power consumption reduced to roughly one-tenth. They feature mounting dimensions fully compatible with existing motors and support convenient one-to-one replacement. Certain models have obtained ATEX explosion-proof certification to accommodate flammable eco-friendly refrigerants such as R290. DC variable-frequency condenser fans can also perform stepless speed regulation based on ambient temperature, further boosting operational precision. The air conditioner sector emphasizes full DC variable-frequency drive and high-efficiency wide-band operation. Three major DC motors (compressor motor, indoor fan motor and outdoor fan motor) operate in tandem, combined with Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithms to realize stepless speed regulation ranging from 5Hz to 65Hz and stable ultra-low-speed operation. Some solutions adopt Gallium Nitride (GaN) power devices, pushing the efficiency of motor inverters up to 96%–97%, which drastically improves the overall energy efficiency and user comfort of complete units.
