Common Types of Air Conditioner Fan Motors

1. By Installation Location (Most Basic Classification)

Indoor Blower Fan Motors

Used inside indoor AC units to circulate cold air into rooms.

Small power, low noise, multiple adjustable speeds (low/med/high).

Mainly for split wall AC, cabinet AC, central air handlers.

Outdoor Condenser Fan Motors

Installed on outdoor units to dissipate heat from condenser coils.

2. By Working Principle & Structure (Core Classification)
